Reiss Motivation Profile® (RMP)

The Reiss Motivation Profile® (RMP) is a scientifically validated tool that identifies the 16 deep-seated motivations that fundamentally influence our behaviour, choices and commitment at work and in our private lives.

Each person has a unique ‘profile of fundamental desires’ that the RMP brings to light, much like a fingerprint.

On an individual level, the RMP shows which motivations and values guide our actions in our daily lives, how we can develop our full performance potential, which goals make us feel satisfied, and how we can better manage our relationships with others.

When used within a team, the RMP is a valuable tool for strengthening group cohesion, preventing conflicts and promoting effective collaboration.

The RMP is the cornerstone of a new strategy for supporting managers and employees at work. This method is both fast and accurate, often leading to practical and inexpensive solutions.

Process

Coaching with the Reiss Motivation Profile® (RMP) is carried out in several stages, whether for individual support – in a private or professional context – or for a team of several employees.

1. Establish your individual profile (20 to 30 minutes)

Using an online platform, you establish your motivational profile by completing a questionnaire consisting of 128 statements to be evaluated (ranging from strongly disagree to strongly agree). The aim is to determine the intensity of your 16 fundamental motivations, without any value judgement. There is therefore no right or wrong profile.

2. Analysis and debriefing of your individual profile with your coach (approximately 1 hour 15 minutes)

The profile obtained is therefore unique and personalised. In order to gain a thorough understanding, a debriefing session is planned with your certified RMP coach; this can take place via video conference or in person. The analysis of your profile will enable you to highlight:

  1. Your fundamental motivators
  2. Your comfort and tension zones
  3. Your sources of lasting satisfaction
  4. Your potential value conflicts with certain environments or people
  5. Areas for development to better leverage your strengths and fuel your deep motivations.

3. Individual or team coaching

In order to apply and develop these elements effectively in your professional or private life, individual coaching follow-up (optional) will be offered. It will be carried out according to the structure and conditions proposed by Coaching Léman.

In the case of team coaching, each employee establishes their individual profile and benefits from a personal debriefing session before the group coaching.
